2016 HAJJ: Committee Submit Report...

Adamawa state  Pilgrims for the  year 2016 have been commended for their maturity, sacrifice, and  obedience  to the constituted authorities at the Holy Land.

Governor Muhammed Umar Jibrilla gave  the commendation when he received the 2016 Hajj Report from the  Amirul-Hajj His Royal Highness Alhaji  Umaru Adamu Sanda at the government house Yola.

Governor stated that the performance of the Amirul-Hajj  and other  officials of the state Muslim Pilgrims welfare board  is quite  commendable, explaining that Hajj exercise  is purely  a religious affairs and  not for any commercial purposes.

submitting the report, the 2016 Amirul-Hajj His Royal Highness,Gangwari Ganye Alhaji Umaru Adamu Sanda  said the  report was in Eight  Chapters and described the exercise as the best ever conducted.

He also said that the board has taken  measures to  officially  checkmate  the  conduct of schedule  officers at local government areas  and thanked Governor Muhammed Jibrilla  for giving them the opportunity to serve as the 2016 state  government delegates at the Holy Land.

In his remarks the  Chief of Staff  government house Alhaji AbdurRahman Abba Jimeta also  commended the Amirul-Hajj and  pilgrims  officials  for their outstanding performance  during the Hajj exercise.

He however  revealed that the service providers had reciprocated by  providing humanitarian assistance to  build a Medical Laboratory to the people of Adamawa state as a result of their kindness and their behavioural approaches at the  Holy Land.

Also in his remarks the  Executive Secretary of the state Muslim Pilgrims welfare Board  Engr. Umar Bobboi said the  Saudi Arabian authorities  have issued a  licence to the  Board  to operate  both in Hajj  and Lesser Hajj (Umrah) at any moment.
A Certificate of approval  was also  presented by the executive  secretary to the Governor as issued by the Saudi Arabian Authorities.
