Welcome To The Official Blog Of Adamawa Ministry Of Information

By A Special Correspondent

The Executive Chairman, Ganye Local Government Council, Hon Odoji Gamu, at Gurum Nongvan, inspecting the danger pose by water erosion which is likely to wash away the only culvert leading to Daksam Village. Daksam is one village where Ganye derived considerable amount of revenue because of its Tueday Market days and the area is very rich in economic activities.

The culvert which is located at the JPRM Junction on Daksam road needs an immediate attention by the Government before the area witness the first rain which is being anticipated any moment. In the past, that culvert was completely cut off thereby rendering the people of the area totally excommunicated from the outside world until His Excellency, the Deputy Governor of Adamawa State, Rt. Hon. Babale Nasiru Martins awarded the construction of the culvert which is now being threatened.

The Rev. Habila M Istifanus 's JPRM has also indicated an interest to partner with the Government in furtherance of its Corporate Social Responsibility under the scheme of Public Private Partnership to assist in the construction of the culvert.

I therefore call on other well meaning citizens of Ganye Local Government Area to join hands with the Administration of Hon. Odoji Gamu and emulate this positive development in putting smiles on the faces of those at the grassroot by assisting in the development and fixing of the Local Government rural roads.
