Adamawa State Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, says Governor Fintiri's administration remains committed to provision of dividends of democracy.
The Deputy Governor, disclosed this at the special Church Service, held at E.Y.N State Low-Cost Yola in commemoration of His Excellency, Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's Five Years in Office.
Adamawa State Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, said as part of activities lined up of His Excellency Governor Fintiri's 5th year anniversary, government delegation were at E.Y.N Church for prayers.
Professor Farauta assured the people of Adamawa of Governor Fintiri's commitment, stressing that no stone will be left unturned adding that his promise to pay for WAEC and NECO fees for students in public schools would be kept.
Deputy Governor Farauta, encouraged the church not to relent in prayers and urged them to be united as the body of Christ, remain united, keep denominational sentiment aside and pray for the political leaders for God to give them wisdom to carry the activities of the state to greater heights.
She testified that prayers has kept the Fintiri's administration to focus more on growth and development of the state, hence the administration's determination to continue to build on the already established peace that the state enjoys.
In their separate contributions, the state Chairman of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN) REV. Joel Danjuma Manzo and the resident pastor of E.Y.N REV. Moses A. Lackson, applauded Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's led administration for his outstanding commitment, support in all ramifications and expressed optimism that he will provide more infrastructural development in the state.
They clergymen made a called on christian faithfuls to always pray and support leaders, have a peaceful coexistence, as well as collaborate with governments at all levels in synergy that would promote the growth of democracy in the state.
The service coincided with the 2024, E.Y.N National sisters followship week, the preacher Mrs Rahab Galadima Paul, took the scriptural reading from the book of Matthew 11: 28 - 30 with the theme: "Working in the steps of Jesus".
Mrs Paul emphasised that Christians should be full of humility just as Christ did as well as urged the church to walk according to His footsteps, purpose, and teachings.
Deputy Governor Professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, alongside the Chief of Staff Dr. Edgar Amos, Executive Council Members, Legislators, Advisers and some of the First class Chiefs in the state, among others attended the special church service.
