Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has sworn in eight newly appointed Permanent Secretaries with a charge on them to be faithful and diligent in the discharge of their duties.

The Governor, during the ceremony, which took place at Government House Conference Hall Yola, on Monday, said the gesture is to ensure proper representation of each local government area in the state.

Represented by his deputy, professor Kaletapwa George Farauta, the Governor called on them to render service without bias and strive to move the state forward in the discharge of their duties.

He urged, the newly sworn in Permanent Secretaries to discharge their duties in accordance with the constitution of Nigeria and work in synergy.

While also congratulating them,  Governor Fintiri encouraged them to be committed, transparent and ensure effective service delivery that will move the state to higher heights, hence their selection through due process. 

The state Solicitor General, who doubled as the Permanent Secretary in the Ministry for Justice, Barrister Isuwa K. Misali, administered the oath of office as well as allegiance to the new Permanent Secretaries.

The sworn in Permanent Secretaries are; Hasssan Maunde Modibbo, Syndana Dada, Muhammed Auwal Ibrahim, Emmanuel Iliya, Mercy Ornan Dauda, Melody Pwambodi Heman, Muhammed Tukur and Ladi Baba Hamza.

Executive council members, Government officials, family, friends and well wishers attended the event.
