In it's preparation for the July 13th local government polls, the Adamawa State Independent Electoral Commission (ADSIEC) has completed her two days training of trainers for resident electoral officers and their assistants.

However, the REOs are expected to train the ad-hoc staff in various local government councils for the July 13th local Government polls.

This initiative underscores the Commission’s commitment to ensuring a transparent, efficient, and credible electoral process.

The training sessions cover the latest updates on electoral laws, regulations, guidelines as well as to ensures that all REOs are well-versed in the legal frameworks governing the election process.

The Chairman of the Commission, Alh. Mohammed Umar stated this in an interview, that the training is part of the commission's readiness towards conducting a credible local government election in state, promising that the exercise is going to be free and fair.
