The Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, has presided over the swearing in of new Board Chairmen and Members. The swearing-in ceremony aligns with the law governing established boards and parastatals in the state.

While presiding over the ceremony, Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri explained that the selection process for the board chairmen and members prioritised candidates who demonstrated integrity, competence, loyalty, and a strong track record.

Noting the positive public response to the appointments, the Governor highlighted citizens' confidence in the Chairmen and Members' ability to deliver progress and development.

Governor Fintiri stressed the importance of inclusivity and collaboration, urging the new officials to work collaboratively with the public.

He acknowledged the significant challenges facing the state, particularly economic hardship. He called upon the new Board Chairs and Members a1ljto contribute innovative solutions to address these issues.

The Gvernor highlighted the administration's zero-tolerance policy for corruption. Transparency and accountability, he declared, are non -negotiable principles, adding that any official found engaging in corrupt practices would be swiftly dismissed.

Governor Fintiri urged the new officials to fully understand the administration's eight-point agenda, which would serve as a guiding document for their work. According to the Governor, the agenda emphasises transparency, accountability, and innovation as key drivers of progress.

He credited the achievements of his administration to a foundation of hard work and dedication. This commitment, he maintained, aims to leave a lasting legacy and build a brighter future for future generations.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri called for a collective effort in building a more prosperous Adamawa State. He emphasised that his government envisioned a future Adamawa characterised by inclusivity, good governance, and the fulfilment of a shared vision for the state's progress.

In his acceptance speech on behalf of the chairs and board members of commissions, Barrister Musa Kaibo, Chairman of the Adamawa State Civil Service Commission, thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for finding them worthy to serve the state in their appointed fields.

While praising the Governor for the commendable projects he is undertaking in the state, he assured the Governor of their loyalty and unwavering support to the Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri-led administration.

The oath of office, secrecy, and allegiance was administered to the board chairs and their members by the state Attorney General, Barrister Afraimu Jingi.

Those inaugurated are chairs and members  of the Adamawa State Local Government Service Commission, Local Govt Staff Pendion Board, State Pension Board, Adamawa State Planning Commission, Adamawa State Primary Healthcare Development Agency, Adamawa State Civil Service Commission, Hospital Services Management Board, Fiscal Responsibility Commission, State Universal Basic Education Board, State Boundary Commission and Board of Internal Revenue.
