USAID Nigeria State Accountability, Transparency, and Effectiveness Activity, otherwise known as State2State has Organized a three day WorkShop for Information and Public Relations Officers, tagged  "Standard Operational Procedures for Ministerial- Level Communication for Adamawa State."

In his Goodwill Message, the Commissioner Ministry Of Information and Strategy, Mr Iliya James, ably represented by the Director Information Communication Technology(ICT) Alh Yunusa Abdullahi, thanked State2State for organizing the timely workshop which he believe will go a long way towards positive change and also add value to the roles and responsibilities of Information and Public Relations Officers and  assist them in identifying and discharging them effectively in their various MDAs. 

He also urged State2State to Maintain the tempo. The Commissioner encouraged the Information and Public Relations Officers to take advantage of the State2State training for better outcome. 

Nneka Egbuna, the State2State Communication Speacialist who is incharge  of two and half States explained the concept of "Understanding the current Landscape, setting goals, drafing and collaboration" to Information and Public Relaions Officers as well as finalizing and Validation as Criteria of Standard Operating Procedures(SOP). 

Participants were grouped and tasked to work on the following as core values of Ministerial Communication; Information Flow, Record Keeping, Crisis Communication, Public Relations, Social Media, Monitoring and Evaluation, Review and Revision, Appendices among others.

The Work Shop was held from 24th-26th June, 2024 at Golden Alpine Hotel and Resort Yola, Adamawa State.
