SPECIAL REPORT: NIGERIAN ARMY RESCUED 801 CAPTIVES OF BOKO HARAM IN BORNO STATE

The Nigerian army has rescued another 801 captives of Boko Haram terrorists

during the cause of its Anti-terrorism Operations in Borno State.

Major General Lucky Irabo, Theater Commander Operations Lafiya Dole in the North East revealed the achievement to the media in Maiduguri. He said the success was recorded between November 23 and December 7.

“Likewise on December 4^th at about 13:45hours, our troops in conjunction with local vigilantes intercepted 5 men, 29 women and children heading towards Goniri from Kafa” he said.

Major Irabo said that the troops have recorded a lot of arrest that includes some suspected cattle rustlers and some suspected Boko Haram members. And, that all the arrested suspects have been handed over to the Nigerian Police.
