Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, to advance mining activities in the state. He outlined the Committee's mandate to assess and recommend suitable mining areas, oversee existing activities, and advise the government on the optimal use of solid minerals. </div><div><br></div><div>Ibrahim noted that Adamawa State is rich in resources such as precious stones, gold, and fluorite. </div><div><br></div><div>He assured that the Ministry of Mineral Resources will collaborate with the Federal Ministry of Solid Minerals and other agencies to ensure smooth resource exploitation. The Board has a task to submit  their report within three days after the inauguration. </div><div><br></div><div>The Board Chairman, Mr. Mennas Ngangurah expressed gratitude to the Governor for the appointment and committed to working diligently to unlock the state's mineral potential.</div><div><br></div><div>Earlier, in her opening remarks, Permanent Secretary Mrs. Melody Heman welcomed the new Board Members and the distinguished guests.</div><div><br></div><div>Goodwill messages were also delivered by the Honourable Commissioner for the Ministry of Rural Infrastructure, Hon. Titus Solomon, and the Director of the Federal Ministry of Solid Minerals, amongst others.</div>

Ladi Baba Hamza on the 18th of July, 2024.</div><div><br></div><div>He said "government work is a continuous process and that wherever you are posted to serve you most go adding that is a normal rules in the Civil Service. Some personnel serves  in office for one year, some five months etc, but in my own case, it is twenty four hours, so that's how the service works and I am glad."</div><div><br></div><div>Mal. Hassan Mounde thanked the management  and staff of the Ministry for the efforts put in place to support him, expressed optimism that Haj. Ladi will  continue from where he stopped. He urged them to support her and work in synergy in other to serve and deliver well.</div><div> </div><div>The Director Sports, Mr Iliya wished the outgoing Permanent Secretary well in his newly posted office, he added that the zeal that he came with to move the  Ministry of Youth and Sports should be channelled to  his new Ministry.
