LAND;State Government out to Settle Land Issues

The Hon. Commissioner of the State Ministry of Land and Survey, Hon. Ibrahim Mijinyawa visits ADSYP 24 to settle issue on encroachment on Government layout.

 

 

 

In his remark, Hon. Mijinyawa said the aim of the visit is to see how Government can  put an end to the reoccurring land deputes because dispite the court order issued to stop work at the site, there are still issues on  encroachment on Government layout.

 

 

 

Responding, the Ubandoma, the District Head of Girei Local Government Area of the State Dr Ibrahim Ahmed Mustapha,  said both parties should come with documents showing the rights of ownership explaining  how lands were acquired, records of compensation and when payments were made. He said anyone responsible for  any illegal transaction on the layout will be responsible for his actions.

 

 

 

At the end of the day, both parties agreed to meet on Monday the 22nd of June 2020, to settle all pending issues once and for all.

 

 

 

The Hon. Commissioner Ministry of Land and Survey, Alh Ibrahim Minjinyawa, was in the company of the Survivor General of the State; Survivor Simon Pwavidon, the entire Management Staff of the Ministry of Land and Survey, The Ubandoma of Adamawa State that's the District Head of Girei Local Government, Dr Ibrahim Ahmed Mustapha and some traditional leader.
