Highly worried and distubed with the nature of the Specialist Hospital Yola, Hon Lumsanbali Dilli, Member Representing Demsa Constituency Adamawa state House of Assembly tabled a matter of urgent public importance, citing some of the glaring inadequacies of the Adamawa State Sovernment which is not giving motivation to doctors who opt out neighbouring Borno state that offers better incentives to doctors.
Lumsan gave a scary statistics, that of the 120 Resident Doctors in the Specialist Hospital Maiduguri, 70 of them are Adamawa indigenes, he went further to state that Yola Special Specialist Hospital has only 3 Resident Doctors, Mubi 2 Doctors while the entire Adamawa state has 18 Doctors .
Considering the importance of the matter tabled, the Hon House has mandated it's Committee on Health and Human Services to liaise with Ministry of Health to find the causes of the ugly situation.
