Adamawa state Government says payment of Gratuity has been going on in the state, but instrumentally. The State Head of Service Barrister Musa Kaibo disclosed this in his office when he recieved the newly constituted members of Adamawa State Pension Board on a courtesy.
He revealed that so far, Government is paying 2011 gratuity and urged the Pensioners in the State to be patient as effort are being made 2 settle all their arrears. the head of Service pointed out that gratuity of Civil Servants is a right and not a privileged as being speculated by some people.
Barister Kaibo assured the new EXCO of Government's support in ensuring that sanity is restored in the Board adding that with the caliber of Members in the Board, the set objectives will be achived.
Earlier in his remark, the newly inaugurated Chairman of the Board, All. Ahmad Njidda said they were on the courtesy call to introduced themselves and to seek for his professional advice on how to run the activities of the Board successfully.
