Physician Week :NMA Honoured Dr. Belel with An Award of Excellence

The Nigerian Medical Association (NMA) Adamawa state chapter has yesterday honour Dr Abdullahi Belel with a prestigious award of excellence to mark the 2017 physician Week.
At a dinner night in Government House Yola Belel along side other colleagues were recognized for their meaningful contributions to the development of health care delivery in the state and the country at large.
While reading Dr Belel citation, Dr Steven John narrated that " Belel is a Man that succeeded in turning Adamawa state primary health care into a model of good service delivery in the country whereby many clinics in rural communities are giving 24 hours health services."
"He has fall on the order of Professor Ramsome Kuti as the new Father of primary health care delivery services in Nigeria, bringing good name to the state's primary health care, painting good image of the country through his vast knowledge of rural hospitals in the outside world." He said
The award night was among the beehives of activities laid up to mark the week, where a team of 60 medical Doctors traveled to Ganye LGA and carried out health services free off charge, 16 operation of various ailments were successful carried out and hundreds of people were freely consulted.
According Chairman of the association, Dr Adiel Apagu this year's week of the association is set aside to give medical services to Many people in the state's rural areas without billing them.
He extol Dr Belel as a Philanthropist physician who has effected change in the services rendered by primary health care development agency in the state to international standard.
"Belel is an assets and a pride to us In Adamawa state who is making us to work with out shoulder high any where we go ". He said
