Welcome To The Official Blog Of Adamawa Ministry Of Information

The Joint Unions of Action Committee, (JUAC) of the Federal Capital Territory Administration and Federal Capital Territory Administration (FCTA/FCDA) , has lauded the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, for the sweeping measures the Administration has adopted recently to strengthen the institutions of governance in the FCT Administration.

This was contained in a letter of commendation sent to the Minister its  Chairman, Comrade Titus Okoro, in the Union’s official reaction to the recent promotion exercise benefitting over 3000 officers of the FCT Administration, besides teachers.

Comrade Okoro praised the FCT Minister for what he described as workers-friendly policies and programmes while acknowledging that these actions   have positively impacted on the progression of staff with attendant benefits.

According to Comrade Okoro, “while acknowledging that these actions have boosted the morale of FCTA staff, it is expected that more workers-friendly policies would be rolled out by your Administration.”

It could also be recalled that the Administration commenced the payment of Weigh-in Allowances for members of the FCTA/FCDA Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ) Chapter.

Other staff members who spoke in various social media threads on the development noted that under Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, workers’ salaries and entitlements have been promptly paid.

They also recalled that earlier on his arrival, the Minister refurbished and released 25 buses for staff transportation, a measure which seriously alleviated the pressure of the economic situation on members of staff. He has been a listening Minister and has always identified with the concern of the workers.

Other actions of the Administration’s that sat well with the staff of the Administration include the harmonization of promotion of officers to ensure uniformity and level playing field, and the commencement of the 2017 promotion exercise among numerous ground-breaking reforms.
