The Executive Secretary, Chairman and board members of Muslims Pilgrims Welfare Board Yola paid an advocacy visit to State Muslims Council to unveiled 2018 hajj operations and guidelines.

In his remarks the Executive of the board Engr.Umar A Bobboyi said the advocacy visit was necessitated in line with the  board 2018 Hajj scheduled of activities aimed at sensitising the intending pilgrims.


Eng Umar A Bobboyi use the forum to sensitize Muslim Council members of Yola North, Yola South, Girei  and Furore local Governments on 2018 Hajj operations and call on all intending pilgrims to note that the closing date for Hajj  payment and registration as directed  by National Hajj Commission is 30th March, 2018, additional payment of R20000 (N 163,000) for all those that are not performing  Hajj  for the first time, vat of 5% will be included on all items purchased in Saudi Arabia, biometric data capture for all intending pilgrims is necessary and  pregnant women to will not be allowed to  travel for 2018 hajj.
