Adamawa State Government in collaboration with European Union and British Council has organized a 4 Day training for delegates from Ministry of Justice, Bureau for PublicProcument, Board of Internal Revenue, Feasical Responsibilities, Police and Department for State Security DSS on Prosecutors PT101 at Madugu Rockview Hotel today being 15th of October, 2018.

The training is aimed at Lawyers that have received induction training, middle level prosecutors,  and also served as refreshers to experienced Prosecutors.

On the other hand,the  objectives of the training has been designed to inprove the effectiveness of Prosecutors and to provide guidance to Prosecutors on what is required in a result-focused prosecution through structural case management, evidential issues and trial advocacy thereby embedding the core principles of effective prosecutions.

However, the methodology to be used for the training include;  structured presentation, interactive plenary session, group work and moot court presentations.

At the end of the training, it is expected that deligates should be able to;  describe the roles of a Prosecutor in criminal trials and apply them in their daily duties,  conduct case analysis and make transparent and consistent prosecutorial decisions,  prepare well-structured written reviews with accountability and confidence,  competently and confidently apply helpful provisions of the Evidence Act, apply a case analysis -based approach to trial advocacy and confidently examine witnesses,  and be proactive in their approach to prosecutorial issues that leads to increase in successful outcomes.

The resources persons for the training are;  Justice Shuaibu C A Calaba, Austine Enumejakpor,  Mrs.  O . O Fatunde and Mr.  Seidu Atteh.

The training is scheduled to end on 18th day of October, 2018.
