Governor Muhammed Umar Jibrilla says Transparency, Accountability, Prudence of Management Resources and Good Governance are the cardinal principles of his administration.
The Governor stated this while presiding over the swearing in Ceremony of Alhaji Isa Halilu Ahmed as Honourable Commissioner ministry of Water Resources and Arch. Aliyu Tarfa as Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Rural Infrastructure and Community Development respectively.
While reminding the appointees to always abide by the oath of office taken, the Governor explained that they were selected based on merit and their track of records in service.
He also stated that public office is a public trust and they will be accountable of their stewardship before God Almighty, and appealed to the entire people of Adamawa state to continue to support his administration so as to move the state forward.
Governor Muhammed Umar Jibrilla said that the future of Adamawa state cannot be mortgage to anybody, emphasising that Adamawa state is greater than anybody .
Responding on behalf of the appointees. Alhaji Isa Halilu Ahmed thanked Governor Muhammed Jibrilla for giving them the opportunity to serve the state and promised to abide by the oath of office taken.
He also assured that they will contribute their own quota towards the development of the state, stressing that the Ministry of Water Resources will consolidate on the remarkable achievements recorded by the present administration under Governor Muhammed Umar Jibrilla by providing portable Drinking water to citizen of Adamawa state.
The Oath of office was administered by the state Solicitor General and Permanent Secretary Ministry ofJustice , Barrister Dahiru Mustapha Raji.
