As Nigeria marks it's sixty years of Independence,the need for president Mohammadu Buhari to improve in present security situation and bring relief to the citizenry has been stressed.
The state Chairman of the Christian association in Nigeria and also the Catholic Bishop of Yola Diocese, Bishop Stephen Dami mamza stated this to ABC Yola reporter against the backdrop of the nation Independence celebration explained that the security situation in the country is getting worst.
Bishop Dami mamza called for an overhaul of the nation's security architecture for better results.
He stressed the need for leaders to ensure justice and fairness while discharging their duties.
The state CAN chairman also called on Nigerian to continue to be United and fight corruption with one voice.
Bishop mamza urged Government at all levels to tackle the security challenge by providing the necessary equipment to security agencies as no meaningful development can take place in an atmosphere devoid of peace.
