NEWS: Gov Fintiri Inspects Lab Facility in Specialist Hospital.

Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has on Tuesday inspect Public Health Laboratory under construction at the Specialist Hospital Yola.
 

The Governor described the laboration as first of its kind when completed in North East Nigeria.
 

Governor Fintiri who was fielding questions from Government House Yola Correspondents after inspecting the project, said that the contractor is on site and the project is progressing well.
"This is one of the state of the art laboratory in the whole North East and is the one-stop shop. Everything about laboratory is in one complex" Governor Fintiri said.
 

Governor Fintiri explained that in the next two months the contractor will be done with the construction work and it will be handed over to the State Government.
Adding that the government will equipped it well with the state of the art equipment for laboratory diagnosis of the citizenry.
The Governor stated that in the next four years his Government will do better in the state and improve in health care delivery services in the state.

The state of the art public health laboratory construction work was flagged off by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri in February. 2022. When completed, it is expected to serve as a referral centre for laboratory diagnosis to include pandemic and epidemics.
