Acting Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta has been honoured by the Christian Chapel of the Deputy Governor's office Friday 25th August, 2023.
The official welcoming service and prayer was organised by the Fellowship of Christian Workers to celebrate her on her assumption to governance task.
Professor Farauta along side the two Honourable Commissioners and three Permanent Secretaries were welcomed into the Deputy Governor's Office prayer cell.
The welcome service affords an opportunity to honoured the celebrants on their elevation and appreciate God for their lives.
Farauta reminded the faithful of their responsibility of preservation of the gospel of light, stressing that their life must be worthy of emulation.
Professor Farauta noted that her choice among many to Deputize Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri is a rare privilege, encouraging them to do away with any form of sentiments and work together towards the actualization of a greater state.
The Acting Governor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta is hopeful that such fellowship will continue to stay stronger in faith and unity, soliciting for support and cooperation for her to deliver on the task of Governance enthrusted her with by His Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri.
Speaking through Pastor Godson Lasco Miwa, the celebrants thanked the Fellowship of Christian workers for honouring them, advising the faithful to learn to comport themselves with decorum and with a sense of spiritual maturity as ambassadors of Christ, Adamawa and indeed Nigeria in general.
In a welcome address, the cell coordinator Tolmas Tadawus reminded the celebrants that their elevation is a task given to them by God and as such they should not neglect the gathering of brethren because fellowshiping together blend us in to unity with God.
The preacher Pastor Caleb Ezekiel admonished the faithful to devote their time to the service of God, thereby showing love and care.
Prayer on the acting Governor for God's favor, wisdom, knowledge, strength and understanding as well as the presentation of gift was also featured.
Those celebrated were the Commissioner for Commerce, Trade and Industry Dr. Ishaya John Dabari and that of Entrepreneurship Development Iliya James. Permanent secretaries are that of Office of the Deputy Governor, Dr. Linah Markus, Entrepreneurship Development Mr Bagume A H and Rifkatu G. Gwandi of Commerce, trade and industry.
