Person's Living with Disabilities: State Government Reaffirms Commitment to Provide Inclusive Governance.

The Adamawa State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to provide an all inclusive governance devoid of gender, tribe and religion.

Deputy Governor, Professor Kaletapwa Farauta stated this when she received members of Abuja based inclusive friends Association at her office Friday.

The Non Governmental Organisation's visit is purposely to congratulate her on her emergence as the deputy Governor, describing it as unique and a mile stone achievements in view of its gender perspective, and also register their demands in respect of persons living with disabilities.

Addressing them, the deputy Governor informed the team that the fresh air administration remains the most friendly Government from all perspective.

She acknowledged that the Disability act signed into law in the state is a step in the right direction, assuring that with the visionary leader steering the affairs of Adamawa Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, that persons living with disabilities will be carried along in all its activities.

Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Grace Jerry advocated for the speedy implemention of persons living with disabilities commission in Adamawa state, that it will give leverages to them.

She noted that their core mandate is to promote issues affecting people living with disabilities especially women who are mostly denied participation in politics, employment and empowerment among others.

The Association thereafter, presented their recommendations to the deputy Governor for consideration.
