RECEPTION：Farauta Celebrates Former Deputy Governor of the State.

The Adamawa State Deputy Governor,  Professor Kaletapwa Farauta who is on acting capacity as the Governor, has organised a Civic Reception Saturday, 19th August, 2023 in Honour of his Excellency Growther Seth, JP, Nzeanzo Bachama the former Deputy Governor of the State.



The Acting Governor who double as the Chief host congratulated the former Deputy Governor Seth： "he is a man who possesses a quality of a leader, and contributed to the growth of Adamawa State. I am highly delighted that today, I stand here to speak after the speech of my big brother and the former Deputy of Adamawa State." I stand bold to say that we are better together than when we are separated. I will like to remind us that the world is going on and it won't wait for anyone but we can catch up with the world when we join our hands together in unity as one.

"Let's try our best to tolerate each other, we can do politics without bitterness, without fighting each other, we can achieve in politics by holding each others hands even when we don't belong to the same party. We are one people and we must not allow party, religion, ethnicity divide us. There are more things that unite us and when we focus on those things we will be more than where we are today." Farauta said.

Professor Farauta thanked Chief Crowther Seth for the good relationship and understanding. She described him as a successful leader and a humble politician who served Adamawa with all sense of loyalty."I will always call upon you for advice and directions when in need."

In his response， His Excellency Crowther Seth said this marks yet another remarkable day in my life and I give glory to God almighty. Chief expressed his sincere appreciation to his successor Professor Kaletapwa Farauta for her good thoughts in organising a grand reception that attracted many dignitaries both outside and within the state in his hounour. " I did not take this for granted at all." He said.

Chief Crowther said, "I appreciate his Excellency Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri for a privilege to picked me as his Deputy, four years ago to work with him. I will be ever grateful for the opportunity to served our people under his first tenure and during that period I gave in my best, loyalty and commitment."  

The former Deputy Governor, Crowther said, Governor Fintiri remains his political mentor, pledging his total support and loyalty to fresh air administration.

Earlier in his welcome address， the Chairman of the occasion， Architect Lawrence Ngable said, the reception is celebration of a complete gentle man of impeccable character, describing him as an upright person who always believe in what he does.

 

The event took place at Pwanobato Recreational and Events Centre, Numan. Dignitaries including: The Deputy Governor of Borno State, Dr. Umar Usman Kadafur, the Deputy Governor of Gombe State Manasseh Daniel Jatau,  PDP Chairman Adamawa State Abubakar Tahir Shehu, Both present and immediate Adamawa State Secretary to the State Government Auwal Tukur and Bashir Ahmed, the Chief of Staff Dr. Edgar Amos, former state Chief Judge Justice Nathan Musa amongst others attended the occasion.
