As part of the activities to mark the one year in office anniversary of the National Union of Women Journalists  NAWOJ, the  Honourable Commissioner for Ministry of Information and Strategy,  Mrs.  Neido Geoffrey  Kofulto, and her counterpart in the state Ministry of Women Affairs and Social Development Mrs Wunfe B Anthony as well as the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry, Mrs Saso Benson Ali  together with the  NAWOJ members were at Borongi Community to create awareness to the people on the recent cases of boat mishaps and the impending cases of flooding along the river Benue.

They were received by the head of the community, Mr. Barnabas Alandi and the people the community could not hide their joy  seeing the stakeholders in their area as it is first of its kind. They thanked the stakeholders for remembering and reaching out to them and people promised to adhere to the advice given to them.
