Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs Charges Contractors on Quality Service Delivery.

The Honourable Commissioner for Local Government Chieftancy Affairs, 

Alhaji Ibrahim Mijinyawa has engaged Contractors of the 21 Local Government Areas in a meeting to rub minds concerning the construction of school buildings across the State.

He encouraged the Contractors to execute the project perfectly well. It is expected that they deliver well due to the  fact that 40 percent of the project fund has been to paid to them.

He said that the Executive Governor, RT. Hon. Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has budgeted 16 Billionaire for these projects,  adding that substandard   construction work is not allowed .

According to the Commissioner, the stipulated completion time for the project is Six months.

He encouraged the Contractors to complete the projects so that their balance of the payment could be made available to them.

The Associated Design Consultant, Mr . Uche Ezenwaka  urged them to deliver the project very well. He said the projected construction will be monitored and inspected well, as the team is divided into so many teams in order to take care of the inspection.
