2024 HAJJ: Pilgrims Boss Holds Emergency Meeting with Schedule Officers.

The Executive Secretary, Adamawa State Muslim Pilgrims Welfare  Commission, Mallam Abubakar Salihu, held emergency meeting with  Schedule Officers across the 21 Local Government Areas of the State at the Board Room of  the Commission to intimate them on increment  as well as the deadline for  submission of Hajj fare  by the National Hajj Commission of Nigeria.

The Executive Secretary secretary announced  that, this year's Hajj fare is  N8,225,464.74. And, for those who have paid earlier, they are therefore urged to pay additional sum of N1,918,032.91 to complete their payment as directed by NAHCON.

The Pilgrims Boss, called on the Officers to pass the information to intending Pilgrims and encourage them to complete their payment before the deadline which 28th March 2024.

Malam Salihu also made it clear that, at the Presidential level,  subsidy was given to all intending pilgrims, while at state level, the Adamawa state Governor, have been supportive and no stone is left unturned  towards ensuring a hitch free Hajj exercise.

The Chairman of the Commission, Alhaji Bappari Kem, called on the Schedule officers, to use wisdom and convince intending pilgrims to complete their payments  and bear in mind the importance of performing Hajj as one of the five pillars of Islam and the abundance reward they will earn if they perform the spiritual rite.
