Adamawa State Deputy Governor Professor Keletapwa George Faurata, has tasked Northern Christain Women to always pray for the growth of the State and the Nation at large.
Professor Keletapwa George Faurata, stated this on Wednesday, in her office, while receiving a delagation from the National Northern Christain Women Coalition in the State.
The Deputy Governor while responding to the delagation led by the National president, she tasked them to be united, dedicated and prayerful, as well as contribute to the development of the nation and not relent in rendering services that is in accordance to the aims and objective of the body.
According to her Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's administration is keen in seeing that things are chanel properly, she described him as an inclusive Leader and Administrator, that allows everyone to contributes to the development of the State despite religion and ethics differences.
She urged them to put politics aside, unit and contribute effectively to the growth and development of the society for the benefits of all.
The National president who led the delagation of the Northern Christain Women Coalition, Hon. Leah Solomon, while highlighting the purpose and mission of their visit, she said they have a well structure of membership across the 19 Northern States of the country and have a voice from Ward to State level.
According to Leah their vision and mission is targeted towards women and youth for ehancing their livelihood, as well as initiatives, peaceful co-existance and voice to the orphans, mentoring women on capacity building, politics and entrepreneurship skills.
She thanked Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri's Administration for carrying women along and as well seeked for Government attention to kindly carry them through programs and mentoring, also creates opportunities for youth and women in the society so as to reduce idleness and crime.
Highlight of the event was a presentation of sovier to the Deputy Governor.
