Adamawa state Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, says the struggle to enhance and sustain worker's welfare will continue to reflect the changing dynamism in working condition globally.
 
The Governor stated this at an event to Commemorate 2024 Workers Day which took place at Mahmud Ribadu Square Yola.

The theme of the year event is "PEOPLE FIRST", which ironically is in conflict with the present situation Nigerians find themselves.

Adamawa State Governor, Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, who was represented by his Deputy Professor Keletapwa George Faurata, says the day provides us on the opportunity to reflect on the workers welfare and the government committed towards it.
According to Governor Fintiri, Adamawa state government will remain focused in the struggle for enhancing as well as sustaining workers welfare with the changing dynamic with working conditions globally.

Governor Fintiri said, "As a government for the people we appreciate your understanding, approach to issues and openess that has characterise our relationship over the years and as a government we are committed towards strengthening this relationship through sustaining regular payments of salaries, allowances as well regular promotions amongst other."

His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, commended the Organised Labour especially in Adamawa state for sustaining the tradition of May day.
In his remark, the Chairman Nigeria Labour Congress (NLC), Adamawa State Council, Comrade Emmanuel Fashe pleaded with the state government to look in to some situations bedeviling citizens, especially with the withdrawal of subsidy on premium motor spirit (PMS).

He therefore, urged the Adamawa state government to urgently do something tangible to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians as a lot of families now live on rations in terms of feeding.

Comrade Emmanuel Fashe,  appreciated the unwavering support as well as commitment of His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, towards to civil servants welfare, especially with the withdrawal of subsidy on premium motor spirit (PMS).

He therefore, urged the Adamawa state government to urgently do something tangible to alleviate the suffering of Nigerians as a lot of families now live on rations in terms of feeding.

Comrade Emmanuel Fashe,  appreciated the unwavering support as well as commitment of His Excellency Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri, towards to civil servants welfare, especially for his timely palliative interventions to workers and masses, the fresh air luxury busses amongst other cannot be appreciated enough.
