In a presentation on the draft policy Document on the need to develop a development agenda for the State, Dr. Bindir said the main thrust of the document will involve:
- Immediate Term Development Goals - Current Operations
- Short Term Development Plan - 0 - 2 years
- Medium Term Development Plan - 2 - 4 years
- Long Term Development Plan - 5 year and beyond
The Process of producing the document will involve identifying the Sectors under which development agendas will be coined. This came about as a result of brainstorming by all the stakeholders at the system-wide consultative forum. Such sectors were determined at the forum where a committee was Established under the leadership of the Chairman of the Procurement Council Alhaji Abdurrahman Modibbo Girei.
The Committee was given two weeks to produce a draft report which will be subjected to discussions by the Forum. Thereafter, the report will be subjected to a process of wider consultation under the auspices of Adamawa Development Forum.
