BREAKING NEWS: Crisis in Adamawa State House of Assembly deepens, Member Suspended

The Adamawa State House of Assembly crisis has today deepened when the House convened at plenary with the suspension of the Chairman Committee of Budget and Appropriation for three months and the dissolution of all standing committees of the House. This is coming following the peddling of false information and misguided utterances by the committee's chairman Hon. Abdurrahman Abubakar Isa of Mubi South.

The motion to that effect was moved by the  Member representing Girei Constituency  Hon Mohammed Mutawalli who called on the House  to dissolve all standing committees of the House based on the false and misguided information passed across to the public by the Chairman House Committee on Budget and Appropriation concerning  the  virement request  letter submitted to the  Honourable House by the Governor seeking their approval to adjust the State Budget in order to undertake development projects.

The Chairman Committee on Information Hon. Hassan Barguma faulted the utterances made by the Hon Member Representing Mubi South Hon. Abdulrahaman Abubakar Isa and accused him of wrongly misinforming the people of the state with his unguided misquotations.
