NEWS: Adamawa State Orphanage Receive an Inspection Team

On  Tuesday the 3^rd of  November  2015, the  Hon. Commissioner  Ministry  of  Women  Affairs, Social Development and Integration  Alhaji  Aliyu  Bello  Tola   paid an impromptu visit  to the  Rehabilitated  Orphanage and  Day  Care  Centre  at Karewa  GRA, Yola. During the visit, the Hon commissioner was conducted round the premises by officials in charge of the Centre.    

Alhaji  Aliyu  Bello  Tola  said the  Purpose of  his  visit is  to inspect  and ensure the  wellbeing  of the  Children at the centre and as part of his supervisory role as the Hon Commissioner.   He said the visit impromptu because he wanted to find out whether the matron, nurses and cleaners   are carrying out   their   duties   as   it   is   expected of them.

He  was  taken  round   the  children  dormitories, rest  room, day  care  and   clinic  by  matron. On  reaching  the   dormitories,   Hajiya   Maisaratu   Bello   inspected the  beds  and   wardrobe,  she  urged  the   children  to  make   their   beds  regularly. Lastly,  the  commissioner  reiterated  on  the  need  for  ensuring  that  the  children  are  properly  taken  care  of  by  their  care-givers. 

The Hon Commissioner was  accompanied   by   permanent  secretary  ministry  of  women affairs  Hajiya  Maisaratu Bello, Deputy   Permanent  Secretary, Directors  and   other   staff  of  the  ministry.
