OPINION; Weapon Upon Weapon

If we are to build a good and sincere Nigeria and Adamawa state in particular, we must to remove or do away with those weapon below :-

§  Regionalism  

§  Religions

§  Tribalism.

We must criminalize discrimination of any Nigerian citizen or indigene or belong to any of the above mention extremes.

Let’s take a flash back on Nigerian Constitution, before it was amended in the year 2011. According to  Nigerian constitution Decree (1989) chapter 3 Articles number 25 section 1 subsection A,B and C states the following persons are citizen or indigene of  Nigeria;-

A: Every person born in Nigeria on or before the date of independence either of whose parents or any of whose grandparents belongs or belonged to a community is a Nigerian.

B: Every person born in Nigeria on or after the date of independence either of whose parents or any of whose is a citizen of Nigeria.

C: Every person born outside Nigeria either any of whose parents is a citizen of Nigeria.

However, going by the above statement, it is high time for every Nigerian to ignore any person that uses or intends to use any of the above mention extremes. Ironically, while we are so focused on division by either  Tribes, Religion or Region, other people in the world are breaking these barriers.For instance, in Adamawa state my state, there are some people or group of people or community that  if you are not from or belong to, no matter how credible you are, they will never cast their vote for you just because of the above mentioned extremes.

Take America for example, you will never hear them saying I belong to this or that community. Our fundamental problems are Tribes, Religions or Regions coupled with corruption practices everywhere including Adamawa State.
