UNFPA:Human Rights Commission Boss Storms IDPs Camp

Professor Ben Angwa the Executive Secretary of National Human Rights Commission  (NHRC) storms Malkoihi camp on Wednesday 13^th 2016 in the company of UNFPA, NEMA and ADSEMA.

He was at the camp to check and verify the claims of various organisations concerning the basic rights of the IDPs and also to ensure that these rights are not jeopardized.

However, he was impressed with the way and manner the Camp Managers  are discharging their duties. 

Similarly, Prof Angwa was pleased with the level of Pyscho Social Support being rendered to women and girls in the camp through the Skills Acquisition Programme  funded by UNFPA  such as Pomade, soap, caps, bags, key holders etc. and that similar programme be organised for men in order to make ends meet. 

On the other hand, Prof Angwa suggested that a shop be acquired outside the camp by the camp management in order to ensure effective patronage of the produced products.
