The FCT Administration has warned that all those involved in the Gwagwalada political crisis that occurred during a political rally on Saturday morning would be arrested and face the full wrath of the law.

The FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello who gave this warning after receiving full brief from the security agencies on the Gwagwalada political crisis, condemned the actions of the political thugs.

The Minister further warned that security breach in whatever manner is not acceptable in the Federal Capital Territory; stressing that politics is not a do or die affair.

Malam Bello emphasized that political violence has no place in our history and has already directed that all perpetrators be arrested and brought to book.

The Minister restated that the political gladiators should not test the will power of the government because his Administration would not condone this barbaric behavior from any body however highly placed in the society.

“The Security Agents must fish out perpetrators of this violent attack and be made to face the full wrath of the law because nobody is above the law,” Malam Bello added.

He thus assured the residents of the Federal Capital Territory that the situation is now calm, adding that the security agencies are on top of the situation and therefore advised residents to go about their lawful businesses.

It may be noted that there was a security breach this morning in Dobi village, Gwagwalada Area Council of the FCT where supporters of the current Chairman of the Gwagwalada Area Council and that of his political god father, all belonging to the same political platform of All Progressives Congress (APC) had a violent clash leading to the death of one Haruna Adamu.
