Ministry of Environment Yola has gotten it's own share of the dividend of the Bindow's Administration in Adamawa State as it clocks one year in the office. All Technical Department in the Ministry has benefited from one or more project within the period under review. Below are some of the projects carried out as per department.
Department of Forestry Conservation :
Establishment by Nuseries at Michika, Mubi North, Yola North, Ganye and Guyuk.
Establishment of over 200 hectares of Woodlots and Orchard in conjunction with the Great Green World Programme.
Magement of the existing state forest Plantations located at Yelwa, Kojoli, Ganye, Guyuk, Song, Dumne, Betso and Bazza.
Day to Day running of the department's activities, sensitization campaigns monitoring and enhancing revenue collection, training and retraining of manpower and SIWES students.
Department of Fisheries Conservation :
Sensitization campaign targeted at our local fishermen, retiring Civil Servants and the general public on the recommended fishing method and general fishing practices with a view enhancing their productivity, create job and improving their socioeconomic well being.
The concept of sustainable developments has always being our watchword.
Distribution of fishing input to registered fishermen (in conjunction with Federal Department of Fisheries,Yola zonal office). This has gone along way in enhancing their productivity.

Department of Environment Degradation Control and Information Management.
Mitigating the menace of erosion and flood usually experienced within the state. This was made possible with the construction of roads and drainage in the affected areas. Areas concerned as follows :
Yola North - Jambutu ward, behind PZ,  Kofare Demsawo and Runde.
Yola South - Wauru Jebbe and Damare  ward.
Mubi North - Mubi town generally.
Assessment of flood and erosion problem (in conjunction with official of ecological funds office, Abuja) in lamurde, Gombi, Hong and Mubi North L. G. A 's with a view to obtaining intervention fund from Ecological fund office. Approval has been granted and soon work will commence at the designated sites.
Day to Day Magement of the department's activities such enforcing the EIA Law, monitoring industrial pollution parameters, in house training and retraining of staff and SIWES students.

Department of Waste Magement and Pollution control :
Desilting of drainage system, and evacuation of refuse heaps at the following locations :- Bismahu Airspace Magement Agency. Doubeli Bye pass, Police Barracks, Bekaji, State Low cost, Nepa road, Mbamoi ward, Yola town, Damare Primary School and adjacent Polo ground in Yola South LGA.
Environmental Sanitation of Mubi town generally.
Sustenance of day to day activities of the department, such as daily sweeping of Metropolitan highways, sewage collection and disposal, training of students of school of Health Technology Mubi.
