In continuation of  his  commitment to provide road  infrastructure to the people of Adamawa state, Governor Muhammed Umar Jibrilla has  called on the people of Ganye  cheifdom  to continue to support the present administration in  its efforts to provide more democracy dividends to the electorates at the grassroots.

The Governor  made the called  during  the  flagging off  of 6.7 KILOMETERS  Ganye Township Roads  network  construction held at the Gangwari 's square.
Governor Muhammed Umar Jibrilla  had assured the gathering  that during  his tenure,  Adamawa state  would be  transform into a Morden  state and urged members of the  National Assembly  in the  area to  redouble  their efforts by ensuring that the  Mayo Belwa - Ganye road was included in the 2017 Budget, pointing out that the Mayo-Belwa - Ganye  road  is a Federal road and  is the primary responsibility  of the members  from the  zone to lobby for its reconstruction.

In his remarks, the Chief of staff government house Yola, Alhaji AbdurRahman Abba Jimeta  explained that the 6.7 KM Ganye  Township Roads Construction  was in line with the  present administration 's commitment to provide democracy dividends to the electorates at the grassroots  as well as  to  fulfil the campaign promises of the Government.

Abba Jimeta  explained that the present government under Senator Muhammed Umar Jibrilla  intents to  rehabilitate the  Ganye General  Hospital and  other Hospitals such as Mubi, Numan  and Specialist Hospital Yola  with a  modern and medical  facilities  in order to  make them  function fully as  referral  hospitals in the state.

The  Cheif of Staff  also  said that the  state government  has declared a state of emergency on Education sector in order to restore  qualitative and sound education to the children of Adamawa state.

Earlier in her  welcome address, the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of  Works Barr.Lilian  Stephen  said the  6.7 Kilometers  Ganye Township Roads Construction from Mararraban  Buwangal to Sanga Sumi bridge  was in the  first phase of  road construction in the area and  was awarded to Triacta construction company of Nigeria  with a  completion period of  Six months.

She also appealed to the  construction  firm  to complete the work according to the specifications and  standard.
Soveniers were  presented to Governor Muhammed Umar Jibrilla  by Gangwari Ganye  His Royal Highness  Alhaji  Umaru Adamu Sanda  as mark of appreciation and honour to the  Governor  for his developmental  efforts  in the  area.
