The Honourable Commissioner Ministry for Information and
Strategy Comrade Ahmad Ibrahim Sajoh made a strong call for attitudinal
change on the part of Nigerians for positive and durable development in
the country. He made this call at a one day Town Hall
Meeting and Presentation of 2015 Post Election Research Project organized by a Non Governmental Organization ( NGO), Community Reach
Initiative (CRI) in collaboration with Action Aid Nigeria Tuesday13th at Dantsoho Hotel, Yola.
As the Chairman of the occasion, he said Nigeria
should adopt knowledge driven attitude for the progress of the society. Sajoh challenged Nigerians to imbibe the right attitude to do the right things for rapid development.
Earlier in his Welcomed address, the Programme Manager
Community Research Initiative Yola, Mallam Abdullahi Atseme explained
that the meeting was to bring issues affecting communities that has been
observed during the post election research.
He said that the Initiative
has come along way to develop the document, adding that it transverse
18 Communities in each of the Senatorial Zones in Adamawa State and
interfaced with people living with disabilities for the purpose of
inclusion as a community in the research.
He continued that the Initiative has created 19 Communities
in the post election research and the activities are centered on voters
education, focusing on voting done on zero tolerance to sentiment.
In his remark on behalf of the Media Chief's in Adamawa,
the General Manager Adamawa Broadcasting Coorporation ABC Yola, Mr
Alleni Ethanda said the Media in the State will continue to partner with
the organization to achieve their set goals and objectives.
