The FCT Administration has commenced routine maintenance of Pedan Dam in Asokoro District of the Federal Capital City, Abuja.
During this exercise, water will be released from the facility, which will increase flow in the watercourse passing through Central Business District, Wuye (Wupa River), Gwagwalada and Abaji down to Gurara.
The exercise will be completed by Wednesday January 11, 2017.
Normal supply of water will however not be affected throughout the period.
The FCT Administration regrets the inconveniences the exercise may cause and therefore, advised residents of the affected areas to take note.
