In an efforts of the present Government of to ensure Adamawa Youths gained Skillful knowledge, Governor Muhammed Umar Jibrilla  says his administration is poised to see that unemployed youths  are adequately  acquire Technical skills. 

The Governor stated this while  inspecting Technical Skills Acquisition Centres  (TSAC)at Numan and Guyuk Local Government Areas  in order to make the centres functional .

Governor Jibrilla  had commended  former Governor Murtala Nyako for his foresight by establishing the Vocational and Technical Training Centres across the state. 

He assured that his government will resocitate  all the centres  so that youths of Adamawa  be self reliance,and wondered why the centres were not functioning  despite huge investment being made by the  government.  

The Governor stressed that  with the  reopening of the centres, it will go along way in empowering the youths and reduce  unemployment and create  jobs as well .

        

It could be recalled that during the Eight State Executive Council meeting held at Government Day Secondary school Demsa, a committee was constituted headed by the  Governor  as Chairman, Chief of staff Alhaji AbdurRahman Abba Jimeta Vice Chairman, Honourable Commissioners of  Information and Strategy Comrade Ahmad Ibrahim Sajoh, and of Local Government and Chieftancy Affairs, Alhaji Mustapha Barkindo, the Focal Person and Senior Special Assistant on Federal Government Intervention Programme Commodore Sali Bodes as members and the Special Adviser on Poverty Alleviation and Wealth Creation Alhaji Ayuba Audu as the Secretary of the committee  with a  mandate to  visit all the  Technical Skills Acquisition Centres across the state  so as to resocitate the centres.
