NEWS:Lamido Adamawa Calls for Unity and Harmony Amongs People

Lamido Fombina His Royal Highness Dr Muhammadu Barkindo Aliyu Mustafa  has called on the people of Borrong  in Demsa Local Government Area  to live in peace and harmony for the overall development of the  area. 

The Royal father  made the call while  Commissioning  a newly constructed Borrong  Jummat  Mosque, he urged  Muslims  faithfuls to  tolerate one another irrespective of religious or tribal inclinations .

Dr  Muhammadu Barkindo  commended  Borrong  community  for the relative peace that was existing in the area .

In his message, the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Information and Strategy Comrade Ahmad Ibrahim Sajoh  also urged the Muslims and Christians faithfuls in the  area to maintain the  existing harmony between them.

              

Comrade Ahmad Sajoh pointed out that no any religion  teaches  violence, he admonished  them to abide by the  teachings  of the Holy Books, as well as to  obey  the constituted authorities in order to attain peace ,Progress and development of the  area and the state at large, stressing that  Government is doing everything possible by ensuring that peace and security  exist  across Adamawa state. 

In their  vote of thanks,the Chief  Imam of Borrong  Jummat Mosque  Alhaji Idiris Ibrahim, the Ardo Fulani  Ardo Hassana and the Sarkin Hausawa  Mallam Bapetel Ndotti have thanked the Lamido  for his efforts in maintaining peace and order in his domain. 

Special prayers was also observed for the entire leadership of the state  and the country at large.
