Welcome To The Official Blog Of Adamawa Ministry Of Information

For commuters plying the Nyanya-Karu road it is relief at last as  the Minister of Information, Chief Lai Mohammed has opened the Inner Southern Express Way Bridge bringing to fulfilment the pledge of the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, to open the road for motorists within the shortest possible time.

The portion of the road which cuts off extended distances between AYA and Apo Roundabout as well as the Murtala Muhammed way and Aso drive, Chief Mohammed said, now makes it easy for motorists to drive straight on to most part of the Central Business District avoiding possible gridlocks.

Commending the FCT Minister, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello, for his massive investments in the development of infrastructure and commitment to completing ongoing projects, the Information Minister observed that these roads are bound to have very positive impacts on both the economy and physical development of the Federal Capital Territory.

He said the stage of work on the ISEX road as well as the Villa Roundabout have opened up the city more and enhanced its navigability. He said, this has become timelier especially when viewed against the foreground of the various international conferences billed for Abuja next year.

Chief Lai Mohammed alas lauded the FCT Minster for awarding and delivering the Villa Roundabout Bridge and Interchange project which was a major component of the Outer Northern Expressway (ONEX), namely the Murtala Mohammed Expressway.

Speaking to newsmen during the brief opening ceremony, the FCT Minster, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello said “the interchange and the entire ISEX road project which begins from the AYA major junction across the Central Area to Galadima District fits into the programme of this administration to complete on-going projects that have the greatest benefits to the greatest number of people.”

The FCT Minister was unequivocal that these major FCC arterial roads would breathe a fresh air into the city while expressing optimism that they would bring about a dramatic improvement in the transportation, commercial and cultural lives of the city.
