CHRISTMAS MESSAGE :FCT MINISTER ESPOUSES UNITY, PEACE AT CHRISTMAS

The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Malam Muhammad Musa Bello has enjoined all Christian residents in the Territory to use the occasion of the Christmas to reflect and to rededicate themselves to the virtues of love, unity and peace. Malam Bello described these virtues as the recurrent themes of the message of Jesus Christ.

FCT Minister gave this charge in a Christmas message to FCT residents during the festivities. 

His words “On behalf of the Administration of the Federal Capital Territory, it is my pleasure to wish all FCT citizens, especially the Christian faithful, a Merry Christmas.”

He appealed to all Nigerians, especially the Christian faithful to use the season to pray for our leaders and indeed, our country Nigeria, that we may enjoy peace and progress in the coming years.

Malam Bello, in the message urged all residents to be security conscious and to report all suspicious movements to the nearest security agencies.  He assured the residents that the Administration continues to work in concert with the security community to guarantee safety of lives and property in the FCT, especially during the yuletide season.  

The Minister also used the occasion to thank FCT residents for their prayers as well as their sacrifices towards the development of the Territory in particular and Nigeria in general. Malam Bello also solicited their partnership and support in the coming years.

He appealed to all the citizens to join hands to make Abuja the city of unity and a haven of peace as was conceived by the founding fathers.
