A Seven Points Communique was issued at the end of the Two Days Summit on Anti Corruption Summit between 20th .......21st February 2018 with a Theme : Performance Based Governance, Transparency ,Accountability and Social Value.
The Secretary to the Adamawa state Government Dr Umar Buba Bindir who reads the Drafts Communique as follows :
* The participants has commended Adamawa state Government for organising the Summit and timely and very important for the progress and development of the state.
** The Summit commended Adamawa state Government for adopting the state Anti Corruption strategy Document.
*** Government should develop synergy with relevant Anti Graft Agencies for enforcement of fiscal Discipline in the public service.
**** The Summit also commended the state House of Assembly for providing enabling Legislation for combating Corruption.
***** Government should institutionalised effective Monitoring and Evaluation Strategy to ensure compliance and Achievements of results .
****** e - Governance should be enhance in Government Business for service delivery and Accountability.
******* The Summit Endorsed Justice reforms in the state.
During the Summit Nine papers were presented which includes : Combating Corruption through the Media by the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Information and Strategy Comrade Ahmad Ibrahim Sajoh, Justice Sector Reforms in Adamawa state 2015 .......2018 by the Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice Barr.Bala Silas Sanga, Financial Management and Revenue Generation by the Honourable Commissioner ministry of Finance and Budget Mahmud Sali Yunusa, Public Procurement Reforms :by Umar Bello Director General Adamawa state Bureau of Public procurement Agency, Peace and Unity for progress : by Dr Amos Edgar and Youth and Women engagement : by Honourable Sunday Peter Member in the state House of Assembly among others.
