The Adamawa State Government is to Collaborate with an Indian based Company TVS to Empower Youths with Tricycle Machines in the state.
Governor Muhammad Umar Jibrilla stated this while flagging off a 3 day free check up camp by Wandel International Nigeria Limited a subsidiary of Simba Group Operating in Nigeria.
The Governor said that the major priority of his government is to make Adamawa youths self-reliance in the society.
He however, cautioned youth to desist from taking dangerous drugs while conducting their businesses, stressing that youths are the pillars of development for any nation. On the other hand ,he appreciated the effort being made by the company for empowering youths of Adamawa State.
In their remarks, the Permanent Secretary Ministry of Transport Hajiya Jummai Bashir, and the Special Adviser and Coordinator of Poverty Alleviation and Wealth creation coordination office Alhaji Ayuba Audu explained that about Ten Thousand and Fifty (10,050) youths have benefited from the Skills acquisition programmes in order to Empower Youths across the satellite.
Ealier, the Managing Director and Chief Executive officer of TVS Mr. Manish Rohatangi commended Governor Muhammad Umar Jibrilla for providing Roads infrastructure across the state.
He said that Simba Group operates in Nigeria since since 1988 , doing that TVS is a leading player in the Tricycle industry in the country.
