NEWS:State Accountant General Bags Award of Excellence.

The Adamawa State  Accountant General,  Mrs. Augustina  Wandamihya  has bagged an Award  of Excellence  from the Total Magazine  International. 

While presenting the  award, the Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer of the  Total  Magazine  International,   Dr. Ibrahim Bobbo Sebore  in a brief  and colourful  ceremony held in the  office of the Accountant General,  said Mrs. Augustina Wandamihya  deserved to be honoured in view of  her  prudence in managing the  resources with Transparency and Accountability  as well as showing commitment in the  discharge of her  responsibilities as professional  Accountant.  And,  showing  zero  tolerance on corruption. 

The Managing Director of Total  Magazine also commended members of the  Legislature and the  Executive arms for their cordial working  relationship between the two  arms of government in Adamawa State. 

He also commended Governor Muhammad Umar Jibrilla for his giant strides through the provision of Roads infrastructure as well as hosting a successful Anti Corruption Summit in the state . 

In her remarks, the  recipient of the award,  Mrs. Augustina Wandamihya expressed  gratitude to the  Total Magazine International for honouring her with such an award and dedicated it to the Government and the entire people of Adamawa State.  She thanked  Governor Muhammad Jibrilla for giving  her the opportunity to  serve the people of the state ; "Governor Bindow is a prudent and a best manager in terms of managing the resources of the state, "she added. 

Also in their good will messages, the Honourable  Speaker of the State  House of Assembly,  Kabiru Mkjinyawa and the Chief Press Secretary to the  Governor,  Mr Yohana Marthias have congratulated the Accountant General for the  award and described it as deserving  and timely in view of  her contribution to the development of Adamawa State.
