The Adamawa State Executive Council has approved the sum of  One point  Nine Billion  Naira for the  Construction and Re- Construction of  Roads network  including  a parking space at the Senate building of the Adamawa State University, Mubi and the provision of  storm water Drainage  linking  through  Yadzaram  River in Mubi Town .

This was part of the resolutions  reached by the  Council at the end of its 30th weekly EXCO meeting  presided over by the Deputy Governor Engineer Martins Babale at the council chambers of the Government House Yola. 

While  briefing Journalists, the Honourable Commissioner Ministry of Information and Strategy Comrade Ahmad Ibrahim Sajoh along side Commissioner of Agriculture  Dr. Waziri Haruna Ahmadu and Permanent Secretary Ministry of  Works  Engineer  Suleiman Muhammad said that the  Council has  also reviewed the  security  situation of the state by ensuring that people  of Adamawa are being secured and protected .

According to Comrade Ahmad Sajoh, the Council has appreciated the steps and efforts  being  taken by Governor Muhammad Umar Jibrilla in curtailing the  security bridges in some parts of the state  as well as  the prompt  response by providing relief  materials to victims of communal clashes by some Farmers and Herders in the state. 

The Information Commissioner also  called on the people of Adamawa State  to be vigilant and to put more trust among themselves  as well as to report  any suspicious movement of persons to the security agents for prompt action. 

The  Council also approved Fifteen  Thousand  metric Tons of  Fertilizer to be distributed to Adamawa  farmers with a upside of One Thousand  Naira each per bag for the 2018 farming  season. 

The  Agricultural  Commissioner  further  explained that the Fertilizer will be  distributed through the Eight  distribution  centers at Mubi, Ganye, Gombi, Hong,Mayo Belwa, Numan, Kofare and Adamawa  Agricultural  Development  Programme   ( AADP) Headquarters  Yola.
