SPECIAL REPORT:RICE FARMERS ASSOCIATION OF NIGERIA(RIFAN)FLAGS- OFF ITEMS DISTRIBUTION TO BENEFICIARIES.

RIFAN has flagged-off the distribution of items to Seven Thousand Four Hundred and Sixty Eight(7,468) in three  (3) Centers in the State viz; Mubi, Yola, Numan.

Kick-starting the distribution, RIFAN Chairman Adamawa State, Mr Stephen Maduwa stated that the items are in form of loan to be repaid with produce in Twelve (12) months.

In his remarks, the National Treasurer RIFAN, Sadiq Daware encouraged beneficiaries to use the items for the purposes intended.

In the same vein, the Regional Manager Unity, Abakura Gana advised farmers to repay their loans to enable others benefit from the scheme and warned defaulters.

The State Chairman All farmers Association Adamawa State, Alhaji Ibrahim Michika commended RIFAN for the initiative added that the good gesture of the Federal Government will make Nigeria a producing Nation instead of consuming Nation.

Items distributed includes; Bags of fertilizer, improved seeds, water pumps, and herbicides.
