Adamawa State Governor, Muhammad Umaru Jibirilla has ordered the state Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs to settle Civil Servant’s salaries at the Local Government Level, including Primary Health Care and Local Education Authority Staffs before Sallah festivity.
The order was issued in a statement unveiled by the Commissioner Adamawa State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, Alhaji Mustapha Barkindo Aliyu indicating that the directive by the Governor is in the spirit of Eid El-Kabir Sallah celebration.
Alhaji Mustapha Barkindo added that the State Government is doing everything possible to ensure that all the outstanding salaries inherited by the present administration from the previous Government are settled.
The Commissioner while wishing the people of the state Happy Sallah in advance also called on Muslim Ummah to use the Sallah period for sober reflection and to pray for peaceful coexistence, and to enable Government at all levels to continue providing more dividends of democracy to the people.
