NEWS UPDATE:MAI KALTUNGO COMMENDED GOV.BINDOW OVER END OF COMMUNAL CONFLICT IN THE STATE.

The Mai of Kaltungo in Gombe State Engr. Saleh Moh'd Umar have commended His Excellency, Governor Mohammad Umar Jibirilla of Adamawa State for his prompt action that led to the end of the Lunguda/Waja communal clashes in Lafiya ward of Lamurde L.G.A.

     
He made this commendation when the leader of the Assessment and Reconciliation Committee, Dr. Agoso Bamaiyi presented the Adamawa formula to the traditional Ruler on behalf of the SSG Dr Umar Buba Bindir.The Adamawa formular is a booklet that contains the names of all political leaders in the State with their telephone numbers. The Adamawa citizens are therefore given opportunity to interface with their leaders at all times.

    
The team was at the palace of Folo Dadiya , Alhaji Abdulkadir Abubakar at Bambam.The committee had also met some Internally Displaced Persons and sympathized with them over the incident and had also visited the palace of Mai Tula, Dr Abubakar Atare  Buba at Tula Gombe State.

The Mai Tula disclosed that all the I.D.Ps have returned to Lafiya as peace have been established there.
