Governor Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla has donated a hostel block and a brand new bus to his Alma Mater, ECWA Secondary School Miango in Jos. 

The Governor, who announced the donation, during the Graduation Ceremony of the school held at the Assembly hall of the school, said the donation was his personal contribution to the school.

He stressed that he wants to leave a legacy in the school by way of giving back to the Alma Mater that made him who he is today. 

Governor Jibrila promised to invite Plateau State Governor,  who is his bossom friend to join hands with him in uplifting the standards of the school. 

Vice President of ECWA, Reverend John said the school is faced with economic depression and called for support. 

Principal of the school, Mrs. Mary Pamtams,  appreciated the contributions of the old students union and urged that students enrollment has gone down due to insecurity in the area and appealed to government to provide adequate security.

She said Muhammad Umaru Jibrilla was a bonifide old student of the school, who graduated in nineteen eighty three alongside other his mates. 

There other speakers including President of the Old Student Union and notable personalities. 

The Governor was also led round the school by the Principal, Mrs.  Mary.
