Governor Muhammad  Umar Jibrilla has  presided over the swearing  in ceremony of  Two  additional  Permanent  Secretaries into the state civil service. 

During the  ceremony held at the  Banquet Hall of the Government House Yola,  Governor Muhammad Umar Jibrilla Says the cardinal principles of his administration is based on Transparency and Accountability and  charged the newly sworn in permanent  Secretaries to abide by the Oath of Office taken while discharging their official responsibilities. 

The Governor stated that  public office is a public trust and reminded them that they would be accountable of their stewardship before Almighty, he also  described  civil servants  as the custodians of  any  government .

He also explained that  their  appointments  was based on merit and their tracks records while in service and congratulated them over their  elevation as the highest  pick  in the  civil service career. 

The Governor also  urged  the people of Adamawa State to Shun religious politics and appealed to  the electorates  to live in peace and harmony with one another for the overall progress and Development of the state. 

Those sworn in are Alhaji  Aliyu Abubakar  Jada and Mr. Ibrahim Zubairu Obadiah from Mayo Belwa Local Government Area. 

In his vote of thanks,  the Director General of Bindow Campaign Organisation  Chief Filex Tangwami thanked Governor Bindow for  finding the newly sworn in permanent Secretaries worthy to serve in his government and  assured that they  would contribute to give their own quota towards the development of Adamawa State. 

The  Oath of Office was administered by the Solicitor General and Permanent secretary Ministry of Justice Barrister Dahiru Mustapha Raji.
